Why we're called Advocate.

The name came from how clients described their experience: “You advocate for us. You educate, you listen, and you don’t dismiss our questions.” It stuck.

The 1917 is Proverbs 19:17 — “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.” It’s not a tagline. It’s the reason this agency operates the way it does: some people come to us with capital and no clarity, others with clarity and no capital. Either way, we try to send them home with a better next step than they walked in with — whether or not they hire us.
